Excellent car shop. They have been very accommodating for us, even when we just dropped off a car in the evening without anyone there they have been good about diagnosing it as quick as possible. They have always been upfront and honest about what is actually necessary and what can wait till later.

I had a quote from a major chain and had a bad vibe from the mechanic and so I hit the online yard sale groups on Facebook to get garage recommendations. Four different people told me to go to CK. So, I sent an email telling them about what the major chain said was wrong. I dealt with Doug and he tried to find me the best deal possible and was honest in that one of the things the other guys said was wrong (a nearly 400 repair) was not. The repairs were done quick and Doug was very polite and spelled out the options to me very well. When I went into pick up my car the gentleman I settled up with was personable and funny. I would recommend to anyone who values family and honesty. This single special needs mom appreciates the money I saved by going with you instead of the major chain. Car is driving as if it was never damaged.

You know a place is GREAT when they don't need to advertise, but are SO busy based on referrals you really should make an appointment. CK Family is one of those places. Honest. Fair prices. Excellent workmanship. The owner Doug mans the phones - give him a call for vehicle maintenance or the next time your car makes that noise that screams "This is going to be expensive!" You'll be well taken care of & it likely won't be as expensive as you're dreading!

Easily the best auto shop in the area.

CK Family Car Care is one of the best car mechanic shops in the country. They are honest, friendly and do not recommend any unwanted work. I have used CK Family for the last 5 to 6 years and have always had a positive experience.

I had the random day off and knew my car was in need of struts and back breaks. As I'm from the CLE originally and have my mechanic back home, I already had an estimate for the work that needed done on my car. While I'd love to make the trip back to Wayne's in CLE, I just didn't have the time so I made several phone calls to local area places. CK Family Car Care provided with a "loose" estimate and asked if I could bring the car in that day for them to take a quick peak before a final estimate. As they were close by and I had the time, I drove it over. CK FCC provided me with a very reasonable and comparable price to my home mechanic. They offered to do the job that day. They also stated my brakes were fine and not needed at that time. Thank you for being HONEST! I called my sister to see if she could come and get me and the guy at the desk said if they couldn't they could run me home and come get me when the car was done. I was surprised and appreciated the offer. The customer waiting room is bright and clean with coffee and a TV. They completed the work same day and when I came to pick up the car they took me into the shop to show me the old parts and how the fixed it. I appreciated this touch too. I will definitely be back for future car repairs.

CK is the best place by far to take your car for repairs. All the staff are great. Nathan and crew are very honest and have fair prices. The work they do is quality and will never try to sell you something you don't need like many other garages. I will only take my cars to CK.
